Responding to a question at the House of Advisors, during the monthly session devoted to the discussion of public policies, focused on the theme “social dialogue, enshrinement of the concept of social equity and mechanism for achieving economic development,” Akhannouch said that the government has managed to structure and implement a modern model of social dialogue, stressing the positive involvement and efforts made by trade unions and professional organizations of employers in this regard.

Referring to the government program and commitments arising from it, Akhannouch said that the signing on April 30 of the national charter of social dialogue attests to the strength of relations between the government and all its social and professional partners, and this far from approaches of seasonality or political calculations, and thus reflects the willingness of this government to engage in a deep and serious reform of various priority issues.

The provisions of this charter, he added, is a “national precedent” that has given substance to the Moroccan model of social dialogue, and this through the establishment of a framework based on the concept of the social year as a tool to enable the parties to the dialogue to monitor the progress of the implementation of agreements reached, as well as to further promote the governance of social dialogue.

For the former Secretary of State and Argentine academic, “the spirit of Morocco is represented by the monarchy. There is a place where this spirit is preserved beyond the territory, and this place is called the monarchy”.

For Argentina, the African continent is a very important market with which “we share the South Atlantic”, especially for Argentine agro-industrial products that have a considerable comparative advantage.

Regarding the current economic problems of his country, Moreno criticized the agreement on debt reached last March with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), believing that “the diagnosis was wrong and therefore the remedy will not be effective”.

Moreno also pointed to the problem of inflation, which passed the 88% mark at the end of October, while experts predict a three-digit rate before the end of the year.

Le Monde: Regragui Banking on Players’ Qualities to Reach World Cup’s Round of 16

In an article, the French daily notes that in three months, Walid Regragui has barely had time to get the pulse of his team, noting that the recent winner of the African Champions League with Wydad Casablanca has hit the ground running, while not renouncing the legacy of Franco-Bosnian coach Vahid Halilhodžić.

A World Cup victory, even if it is the country’s first since 1998, will not satisfy the ambitious 47-year-old, according to the paper, which notes that four days after upsetting Belgium 2-0 and plunging the Red Devils into crisis, the Moroccan team will face already-eliminated Canada on Thursday with ambitions of qualifying for the next round.

The Atlas Lions know they can put an end to a 36-year wait, the newspaper stressed.

The French media quoted Senegal Coach Aliou Cissen, who said that Walid Regragui’s men are “a source of inspiration” for African soccer and must validate their ticket to the knockout stage of the competition.
