National Day of Patriotic Commitment: The active forces of the province of Nahouri respond

_: The High Commissioner of the province of Nahouri, Auguste Kinda, chaired this Tuesday, March 26, 2024 in Pô, the first national day of patriotic commitment and citizen participation with the rise of colors and the message of head of state to the driving forces of the province, on the promotion of civic-mindedness, tolerance, patriotism and courage.

The message invites the population to show solidarity with the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP), committed to the reconquest of the national territory and internally displaced persons, this Tuesday, March 26, 2024 in Pô, during the first national day of patriotic commitment and citizen participation.

According to the High Commissioner of the province of Nahouri, Auguste Kinda, the populations of Nahouri are invited to join the activities organized for this purpose and to consume local dishes.

This is the day of fiscal exemplarity, the cross of cohesion bringing together the Defense and Security Force
s (FDS) and the population which will take place this Wednesday March 27, 2024 in the city of Pô.

As a reminder, the establishment of national days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation is in memory of the father of the Burkinabè revolution, Captain Thomas Sankara.

His breaking speech delivered on March 26, 1983 in Bobo-Dioulasso when he was Prime Minister. Later his political orientation speech which traces the furrows of sovereignty, independence and freedom.

Thomas Sankara is also about actions, the fight for the emancipation of women, the rail battle, popular investment efforts, patriotic commitment and citizen participation.

‘Thomas Sankara is also a source from which we must draw,’ concluded Auguste Kinda.

It should be noted that the same activity was organized in the four municipalities in the province by the communal forces.
