Morocco Reports 149 New COVID-19 Cases over Past 24 Hours

A total of 24,914,150 people have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while the number of fully vaccinated people (1st and 2nd doses) has reached 23,413,588, the ministry pointed out in its daily COVID-19 bulletin, noting that 6,852,398 people have received the third dose of the vaccine, while 55,230 people have received the fourth dose.

 

According to the same source, the number of COVID-19 cases reported since the start of the outbreak of the virus rose to 1,266,788, while recoveries increased to 1,249,785, i.e. a recovery rate of 98.7%.

 

The new COVID-19 cases were recorded in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (58), Rabat-Salé-Kenitra (37), Fez-Meknes (28), Marrakech-Safi (15), Guelmim-Oued Noun (03), Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (02), Beni Mellal-Khenifra (02), Souss-Massa (02), Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra (01) and Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (01).

 

As for coronavirus-related fatalities, their number remained at 16,283, while the number of active cases stands at 720, with five new severe or critical cases reported in the last 24 hours.
