Burkina: The Prime Minister on a working and friendship visit to Iran from April 24 to May 1

The Prime Minister of Burkina Faso, Dr. Apollinaire Joachimson Kyelem de Tambèlla, is carrying out a working and friendship visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, from April 24 to May 1, 2024, announced the Government Information Service (GIS).

During his visit, the Head of Government will meet several Iranian personalities including the Iranian President, Ebrahim RAÏSSI, to discuss issues of common interest, namely defense, economy and finance, trade, promotion of investments, indicates the Government Information Service (SIG).

According to the same source, the two parties will also discuss issues of crafts, industry, agriculture, health, etc.

It should be noted that, during this working and friendship visit, the Prime Minister will attend the opening ceremonies of the 2nd #Iran_Africa Economic Forum and Iran Expo 2024, he adds.

Dr KYÉLÈM de Tambèla will also deliver a paper at an Iranian university and attend a series of cultural and tourist events to better understand Iranian culture and history.

is agenda, a meeting is also planned with the Burkinabè community living in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This working and friendship visit is an opportunity to strengthen bilateral relations between Burkina Faso and Iran and it will open new prospects for cooperation, concludes the SIG press release.
