Health Minister and HTDC Secretary-General discuss ways to strengthen cooperation

Health Minister Ali Mrabet met on Monday Secretary-General of the Health Tourism Development Centre of Islamic Countries (HTDC), Majid Zangooei. Discussions focused on ways to strengthen cooperation and partnerships between the Ministry and the HTDC to promote medical tourism through international exhibitions and high-level conferences in this field. Minister Mrabet stressed that Tunisia is a preferred destination for medical tourism and thalassotherapy. He reiterated his ministry’s ongoing commitment to supporting initiatives that promote Tunisia’s specific advantages in the medical tourism sector and the export of health services. HTDC’s Zangooei had actively participated in the fourth edition of the African Medical Tourism Congress, held in Tunis on October 20 and 21. The event was attended by medical professionals and experts from over 20 African, European and Asian countries.
