Guinea: Morocco Takes Part in 1st International Exhibition of Culture, Tourism, Handicrafts

Mehdi Bensaid was invited to this event by Guinea’s Minister of Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts Alpha Soumah.

On the sidelines of this event and in the presence of Morocco’s Ambassador in Conakry Isam Taib, Afifi held several bilateral meetings with the Guinean authorities, including the Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts and the Secretary General of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation.

During his meetings, the Moroccan official stressed the excellence of historical relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Guinea and reaffirmed the willingness of his department to collaborate with Guinean partners in various areas related to culture.

The 1st edition of the International Exhibition of Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts, which started on May 14 and ends this Saturday, included panels on several topics related to current events including the sharing of experiences on cultural and tourism policies and the role of culture in the fight against illegal migration.
