Organized from 13 to 19 June in the exhibition center of the International Foreign Trade Centre of Senegal (Cices) in Dakar, the event is part of the promotion of investment and development of partnerships in OIC member countries.

The opening ceremony, chaired by Senegalese Minister of Livestock and Animal Productions, Aly Saleh Diop, in the presence of the Moroccan Ambassador to Senegal, Hassan Naciri, was marked by a speech by Latifa El Bouabdellaoui, Director General of the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT) and by the Assistant Secretary General of the OIC, Ahmad Sengendo.

Co-organized by the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade and the International Foreign Trade Centre of Senegal (CICES), the International Trade Fair of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, held under the theme ”Facilitating intra-OIC trade: which instruments for trade development”, provides an opportunity for exhibitors from the 57 member countries to exchange views on the ways and means of increasing trade exchanges.

Morocco participates in this event with a pavilion set up by the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Investment and Exports “AMDIE” at the Exhibition Centre of Cices alongside other countries such as Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Mauritania, Comoros, Senegal and Nigeria among others.

This Fair will be marked by the organization on June 14 of the Day of Morocco, an opportunity to highlight the kingdom’s potential in the economic and commercial fields.
