‘We have no choice, we must be proud to be Burkinabè and from Burkina Faso. This is the only way to live happily,’ said Prime Minister Me Appolinaire Kyelem of Tambela.

The Prime Minister, Me Appolinaire Kyelem de Tambela, spoke on Tuesday in Ouagadougou, on the occasion of the day of patriotic commitment and citizen participation.

On this occasion, Me Kyelem invited ‘everyone to dress in Faso danfani in kokodonda and eat local dishes’.

‘I think it is time for some people to question themselves and get involved, because if you live in Burkina Faso and you are not proud to be Burkinabè, you are unhappy. If you are a foreigner and you live here in Burkina Faso and you are not proud of Burkina Faso, you are also unhappy.

If you are Burkinabè and you are outside and you are not proud of being
Burkinabè and of Burkina Faso, you are also unhappy. Because those who are there only accept you because of the service you can provide to them. You don’t have your identity,’ he insisted.
