Ouagadougou: The 4th edition of water and sanitation will be held from April 22 to 24, 2024 in Ouagadougou under the theme ‘Water: factor of resilience, peace and development’, according to government sources.
Placed under the very high patronage of the President of the Transition, the 2024 edition of this national water and sanitation forum ‘aims to ensure citizen and popular mobilization as well as multi-actor dialogue around the water and sanitation issues,’ indicates the report of the Council of Ministers this Wednesday.
‘This 4th edition offers an opportunity for stakeholders in the water sub-sector to consult, share their concerns and define the actions to be implemented to ensure sustainable access to water and sanitation in accordance with the commitments of the Head of State included in the Action Plan for stabilization and development’ indicates the government spokesperson in the report of the meeting.
