Ouagadougou: Nearly 100 billion FCFA were collected in 2023 by the Patriotic Support Fund (FSP), we learned on Tuesday.
As of December 31, 2023, the amount of collections from all sources combined in the FSP amounts to ninety-nine billion thirty-nine million thirty-five thousand five hundred (99,039,035,500) FCFA, on a revised forecast of eighty billion (80,000,000,000) FCFA, i.e. a mobilization rate of 123.80%.
Out of a forecast of one hundred billion (100,000,000,000) FCFA in 2024, thirty-one billion two million six hundred and seventy-nine thousand nine hundred and eighteen (31,002,679,918) FCFA have already been recovered as of March 12 2024, or 31% of the annual objective, proof of citizens’ support for this instrument to support the Government’s peace efforts.
