Stock market ends week on optimistic note

The stock market ended the week on an optimistic note. The benchmark index rebounded by 0.2% to 8,458.4 points during Friday’s session, with a modest trading volume of TND 1.6 million.

OfficePlast was the session’s top performer. The stock of the office and school supplies manufacturer gained 4.3% to reach TND 1.200 without any significant capital inflow. However, the stock’s annual performance remains in negative territory, with a cumulative correction of -21.6%.

Shares in Amen Bank, the financial arm of the Amen Group, improved by 2.6% to reach TND 39.000. The stock attracted an inflow of capital totalling TND 202,000, the second highest trading volume of the session.

On the other hand, Ennakl was the worst performer of the session. The car retailer’s stock fell 3.4% to TND 10.980, with trading activity limited to TND 13,000 during the session.

ICF shares also fell sharply during the session, mainly due to profit-taking. The aluminium fluoride producer’s stock fell 1.8% to TND 73.000, with trading volume reaching only TND 18,000 for the session.

Meanwhile, SFBT shares remained flat at TND 12,610. The brewery’s stock was the most sought-after asset of the session, injecting TND 342,000 into the market.
