Morocco, Cameroon Sign MoU on Social Affairs

Inked by Minister of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family, Aawatif Hayar and her Cameroonian counterpart, Pauline Irene Nguene, this agreement aims to consolidate cooperation in the exchange of research and studies in the social field, promotion of women’s rights, protection of children and the elderly, inclusion of people with disabilities and the fight against poverty.

In a statement to the press after the signing ceremony, Hayar said that this agreement is divided into several areas, including the development of programs to promote the status of people with disabilities, the elderly, people in vulnerable situations and children in difficult circumstances.

For her part, Nguene said that this agreement will allow the exchange of good practices between the two countries in the field of social affairs.
