Economy Minister leads Tunisian delegation to IsDB Annual Meetings in Riyadh, April 27-30

Tunis: A Tunisian delegation, led by Minister of Economy and Planning Feriel Ouerghi Sebai, are taking part on April 27-30 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in the 2024 Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, announced the Ministry of Economy in a press release on Saturday.

The minister will attend the official meetings of the governors of the IsDB member States, as well as workshops organised on their sidelines.

She will also hold bilateral meetings with heads of institutions members of the IsDB Group, Saudi investment officials and representatives of funds, investment banks and private enterprises.

The goal is to outline the reforms launched by the Tunisian government, notably in connection with improving the business and investment climate, along with the priority development programmes and projects that will be carried out in this framework.

Ouerghi will also seize this opportunity to promote investment opportunities in Tunisia, as part of a win-win approach, especially in promising secto
rs.

The IsDB is one of Tunisia’s major donors. Over more than five decades, it has contributed to the funding of 45 development projects, worth some $2 billion (nearly TND 6.3 billion). These projects have focused on integrated agricultural development, infrastructure, health, vocational training, etc.
