March in support of the transition: demonstrators demand the reopening of the Dori-Kaya road

The Dori 27 Movement (MD27) organized this Friday, in Dori, capital of the Sahel region (North), a march in support of the transition regime during which demonstrators pleaded for the reopening of the Dori-Kaya road.

According to the secretary general of the Dori 27 Movement (MD27), Abdoul Aziz Dicko, this event aims to convey to the MPSR2 and its president, His Excellency Ibrahim Traoré, the gratitude of the Sahelians, in view of his multiple actions undertaken for the refoundation of the State, the restoration of the national territory and the return of peace and security.

According to Mr. Dicko, the march aims to challenge the authorities of the transaction on the realities of the Sahel region, in particular the reopening of the Dori-Kaya road, because according to him, “Dori lives to the rhythm convoys, while Gorom Gorom, Sebba, Gorgadji and Arbinda are difficult to access.

He paid well-deserved tribute to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), the Volunteers for the Defense of the Fatherland (VDP) “who are, night and day, on the ground for the restoration of the national territory and the return of peace and security”.

Traoré Aissatou, a trader, said she came to express her gratitude to the authorities, but also to say that the markets are bare and what exists there is extremely expensive.
