On this occasion, a number of programs, initiatives and socio-economic projects that contribute to improving the living conditions of the A Quds inhabitants and strengthening their resistance were highlighted, in line with the Al-Quds Committee’s approach of combining ongoing political, diplomatic and legal support to Al-Quds Asharif with concrete solidarity action carried out by the Agency as the executive body of the Al-Quds Committee.
Morocco currently funds the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency with 100% of the countries’ donations, which clearly demonstrates the Kingdom’s ongoing commitment to supporting the Palestinian brothers.
The Agency implements projects within the framework of continuous social assistance programs, including housing, catering, health, education, social assistance, children and youth projects, sports, cultural and artistic projects, and the protection of the religious, cultural and historical heritage of the Holy City, through the realization of several initiatives in this direction.
Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency also provides humanitarian aid to the Al Quds inhabitants throughout the year, the latest being the distribution of more than 400 food rations to poor families, sufficient to meet their basic needs throughout this holy month.
