Djerba Island will host the 3rd International Business Forum on November 23-26, 2023, under the slogan “Investment prospects in Tunisia and neighbouring countries.” Organised by the Medenine office of the Supreme Council of Libyan-Tunisian Businessmen (SCLTB), the forum, which will be attended by over 100 Tunisian and foreign institutions from neighbouring countries and countries interested in investing in the region, will discuss investment law in Tunisia, Libya and Algeria, as well as the possibilities for its development. The goal is to motivate private entrepreneurs to create projects and make the most of possible opportunities for joint investments and the building of bilateral and tripartite partnerships between Tunisian, Libyan and Algerian institutions. The aim is also to ensure active participation in Libya’s reconstruction phase. B2B meetings between the various attending companies, notably from Tunisia, Libya, Algeria and France will be on the agenda to discuss agreements, investment contracts and partnerships between them. The forum’s final declaration will include a number of recommendations and proposals for governments and parliaments to draw up investment laws aimed at promoting joint investments between neighbouring countries.
