Tunis: Ways to strengthen military cooperation between Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates, along with exploring effective mechanisms for expanding its scope, took centre stage at a meeting held Monday morning between Minister of National Defence Imed Memmich and Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Tunisia Eman Al Salami.
The Defence Minister emphasised the strong relations between the two countries and called for further strengthening military cooperation and exploring possible avenues to develop its fields and establish a partnership in training and exchange of expertise, according to a Ministry statement.
For her part, the UAE ambassador expressed satisfaction with the development of cooperation between the two countries. She stressed her country’s readiness to strengthen joint actions and enhance bilateral military cooperation to elevate it to the best levels and achieve the desired goals.
