The NGO Convoy of Hope delivered various foodstuffs to 8 examination centers on Friday May 31, 2024 in Kombissiri for the benefit of candidates for the primary education certificate (CEP) session of 2024 to support them during the composition.

A few days before the start of the examination for the primary education certificate (CEP) session of 2024 throughout Burkina Faso, the NGO Convoy of Hope delivered food to candidate students in the commune of Kombissiri.

The food provided consists of rice, pre-cooked sauce, lentils, yellow corn couscous, pasta, vegetable oil, wheat-based porridge and sweetened condensed milk. In addition to food for the students, Nescafe, tea and sugar were also provided for the examiners.

In total, more than 1,430 students from 42 schools spread across 8 examination centers in the municipality have benefited from this food.

For the nutrition manager of the NGO Convoy of Hope, Olivia Dimtoumda/Ilboudo, this action aims to put candidates from beneficiary schools in better working c
onditions during the exam.

In the commune of Kombissiri, 18 schools are sponsored by the NGO. These food items delivered to the examination centers where these sponsored schools are located will also benefit the 24 other schools located in these centers.

The secretary general of Kombissiri town hall, Edmond Nikièma, welcomed this initiative from Convoy of Hope.

According to Mr. Nikièma, this donation will allow students to be in good conditions during the exam.

As a reminder, Convoy of Hope is an NGO partner in education in the Bazèga province. It intervenes in the field of school canteens by offering food throughout the school year to certain schools that it sponsors.
