It added that in addition to the 5 companies supervised by ASMEX, 8 other companies were accompanied by the International Trade Center (ITC).
During its stay in Montreal, the Moroccan delegation took part in familiarization visits organized through several markets where food products are sold, noted the statement, adding that several products of Moroccan origin are displayed on the shelves of several markets visited.
The Moroccan delegation also participated in more than 50 BtoB meetings that took place in the Moroccan pavilion at SIAL Montreal. Several products are highlighted, including fruit vinegar, jams, olive oil, canned olives, argan oil, cookies, sauces, Moroccan salads and condiments, spices…
In addition, the statement said that the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco in Canada, Souriya Otmani, visited the 2 pavilions of Morocco and met with exhibitors on the potential of the Canadian market and opportunities to seize, including through a regular presence in events to promote Moroccan products.
