Yatenga/Baccalauréat 2024: The Northern region records a success rate of 51.73%


The results of the baccalaureate examination, ordinary session 2024 had its epilogue, on Wednesday July 3, 2024 in Ouahigouya. The Northern region obtained a success rate of 51.73%, all series combined.

Initially, 6,766 candidates including 3,533 girls participated in the various juries in the Northern region out of 6,880 registered.

At the end of the first round, 2,425 candidates were admitted and 1,075 in the second round.

In terms of percentage, Zondoma comes first with a 56.50% success rate, i.e. 400 admitted out of 708 registered candidates, followed by Yatenga with 51.44%, i.e. 1,541 admitted out of 2,996 candidates presented, Passoré with 51, 01% or 1,439 winners out of 2,821 who composed and Loroum with 49.79% success rate or 120 admitted out of 241 candidates composed.

With 3,533 girls against 3,233 boys, the session saw a participation of girls slightly above that of boys but 1,758 girls (49.76%) were admitted against 1,742 boys (53.88%).
