Tunisian women’s team including Lilia Lahmar, Ferial Turki, Nouha Mabrouk and Raja Saied won the bronze medal at the 9th World Championship Long Casting of Sea Weights Ladies, hosted on May 20-27 in Hammamet. The gold and silver medals went to Italy and France, respectively. In the 25th World Championship Long Casting of Sea Weights Seniors, the men’s team — Maher Dhouib, Rayan Kalai, Ghaith Belhadj Rhouma, Zied Zarrouk, Slim Mezanned, Ahmed Batli and Raschid Kammoun — ranked 5th, after Argentina (1st), Italy (2nd), France (3rd) and Belgium (4th). Organised by the Tunisian Federation of Sport Fishing, these championships saw the participation of 8 countries, namely host country Tunisia, Belgium, Brazil, Chili, France, Italy and Spain.
