Ouagadougou: The President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim TRAORE, received the World Bank Regional Vice President for West and Central Africa, Ousmane DIAGANA, in an audience on Wednesday late morning. The meeting underscored the commitment of the World Bank to support Burkina Faso amidst geopolitical changes.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Mr. DIAGANA expressed gratitude toward Captain Ibrahim TRAORE and reaffirmed the World Bank’s solidarity with Burkina Faso. He assured that the institution remains dedicated to aiding Burkina Faso and its people in their pursuit of improved living conditions.
Ousmane DIAGANA commended the vision of President TRAORE, noting that it has facilitated Burkina Faso’s achievement of satisfactory economic performance. During the meeting, President TRAORE generously shared his vision and advice, which Mr. DIAGANA emphasized would be translated into concrete actions as part of ongoing discussions with Burkina Faso authorities.
