Upper House Speaker Represents His Majesty the King at Official Inauguration Ceremony of Comorian President


Moroni – The House of Councillors Speaker, Enaam Mayara, represented His Majesty King Mohammed VI at the official inauguration ceremony of the President of the Union of the Comoros, Azali Assoumani, which took place on Sunday in the capital Moroni.

The official inauguration ceremony took place in the capital Moroni in the presence of heads of state and government, speakers of parliament and heads of delegation, as well as several other personalities.

During the ceremony, Mayara conveyed the greetings and congratulations of HM King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, to President Azali Assoumani, and the Sovereign’s wishes for success in his noble mission.

On this occasion, the Upper House Speaker reiterated Morocco’s determination and will, under the enlightened leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, may God preserve Him, to further strengthen the excellent relations between the two countries in the various areas of common interest.

On the same occasion, President Azali Assoumani received Enaam Mayara on Monday
morning.

During this audience, the President of the Union of the Comoros expressed his pride in the depth of the strong relations linking the two countries, as well as his great esteem for the actions undertaken by His Majesty the King to raise bilateral relations to a higher level and strengthen development on the African continent in the political, economic and human fields.

The audience took place in the presence of the Secretary General of the Government of the Republic of the Union of the Comoros and the ChargĂ© d’Affaires at the Moroccan Embassy in Moroni, Driss Alaoui.
