Two Tunisians won Sheikh Zayed Book Award in its 17th edition. They are professor and academic researcher Jalila Tritar in Literary and Art Criticism and Professor Chokri Al Saadi in translation.
“Mara i an-Nisaa: Dirasat fi Kitabat al-That an-Nisaa iya al-Aarabiya” is the title of Dr. Tritar’s award-winning book published in 2021.
Professor Chokri Al Saadi earned the prize for his brilliant translation of Professor of the Philosophy of Mind and Language John R. Searle’s Expression and Meaning: Studies in the Theory of Speech Acts.
Winners were announced Monday.
