Tunindex concludes Monday’s session in equilibrium


Tunindex concluded Monday’s session on a balanced note, edging up slightly by 0.03% to 8,578.04 points, in a subdued trading environment with a volume of TND 1.9 million, as reported by broker Tunisie Valeurs.

Ennakl led the session’s rankings with a surge of 5.9% to TND 11.750, mobilising a modest trading volume of TND 2,000 during the session.

Tuninvest emerged as one of the session’s major gainers. The Sicar’s stock saw a 4.4% uptick, reaching TND 7.590. The stock generated limited trades totalling TND 8,000.

On the flip side, ASSAD took the bottom spot on the Tunindex. The battery accumulator’s stock declined by 4.5% to TND 0.840, handling a modest trading volume of TND 42,000 during the session.

The stock has exhibited a disappointing market performance, contracting by -22.9% since the beginning of the year.

CIL’s stock found itself among the major losers of the session, declining by 4.3% to TND 18.660. The stock attracted capital of TND 58,000 during the session.

UIB proved to be the most dynamic
asset of the session. The stock of the private bank concluded the session on a nearly stable note (+0.2%) at TND 25.150. It fuelled the market with a trading volume of TND 292,000, constituting 15% of the total exchanges during the session.
