The population of the town of Dédougou, Boucle du Mouhoun region (Northwest) mobilized this Friday, at the “Melon gare” square to express their unwavering support for the authorities of the Transition in Burkina Faso headed by Captain Ibrahim Traoré, Head of State, president of the Transition.
It was through a march in the arteries of the town of Dédougou, followed by a meeting at the “Melon gare” square in Dédougou that the population of the town of Dédougou demonstrated its unwavering support for the authorities of the Transition led by the Captain Ibrahim Traoré.
Burkinabè, Russian and Malian flags in hand, effigies of the President of the Transition, the demonstrators chanted remarks while castigating imperialism, the interference of dark forces in the destabilization of the country prey to terrorism which, according to them, This is just a maneuver by foreign powers against Burkina Faso.
For Fatin Thiébo, coordinator of the march, we commemorate Year I of the Transition led by Captain Ibrahim Traoré in an international context marked by the creation of the Alliance of Sahel States, the conference of the group of 77 countries plus the China in Cuba and the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in the United States of America where Burkina’s participation marked the international and national community.
“At the national level, the Transition is marked by the merciless fight against terrorist groups and the reconquest of territory. It is in this context that imperialism and its local lackeys are redoubling their efforts to destabilize our Transition,” said the coordinator of the march.
To do this, he calls on youth as a whole and the conscious fringe to get involved in citizen monitoring groups to protect the achievements of the Transition.
Addressing the Head of State, he expressed the recognition of the population for the efforts in the fight against terrorism and the reconquest of the national territory.
“Comrade President, the people of Boucle du Mouhoun are grateful to you and thank you for the effort in reconquering our territory. Thank you for the courageous decisions aimed at restoring our people’s dignity and full sovereignty. Thank you to our fighting forces for the sacrifice,” he said.
He further stressed that the population is counting on the determination and foresight of the President of the Transition to undertake the reforms necessary for the development of our people.
He reassures the population’s unwavering support for the actions of the Transition authorities and hopes that attention will be paid to the Dédougou-Tougan, Dédougou-Nouna-Djibasso and Dédougou-Solenzo axes.
