Tenkodogo Family Contributes to City Beautification with Cement Donation

Tenkodogo: A family and its collaborators made a significant contribution to the ‘Faso Mebo’ initiative by donating a ton of cement in Tenkodogo. The initiative, a presidential effort, focuses on enhancing and developing urban areas.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the donation was led by Sadou Ouedraogo, the promoter of ESOF Decor Plus and Zougla-Koutou Distribution, along with his family and colleagues. Sadou Ouedraogo emphasized that this gesture aligns with the national construction and development goals championed by President Ibrahim Traore.

“We were able to offer a ton of cement today, but we hope that God will further facilitate the means so that we can return with other support,” Ouedraogo stated. He highlighted the importance of contributing to collective well-being, noting that one does not need vast resources to make a difference. “Everyone can, at their own level, contribute to development,” he said.

Beyond the cement donation, the Ouedraogo family and their partners took part in the paving stone production process, demonstrating their commitment by assisting in the transportation and storage of the paving stones. This action underscores a dedication that extends beyond financial contributions.

This civic involvement reflects the growing spirit of solidarity and collaboration in the Nakambe region, where similar efforts are being made to bolster local development initiatives. By merging material support with hands-on involvement, the Ouedraogo family and their colleagues exemplify proactive and responsible citizenship. Their actions remind us that the intent to work for the community’s benefit is what truly matters.
