Burkinabè taekwondo player Faysal Sawadogo beat world number 2, Egyptian Seif Eissa, on Thursday in Tallinn, Estonia, and won the gold medal at the Estonian Open, we learned from media sources.
Faysal Sawadogo (world number 11) won the gold medal in the final by beating the Egyptian Seif Eissa at the Estonian international Taekwondo tournament (under 80kg) in Tallinn. The Stallion, already qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, had already beaten the Egyptian in 2023 at the African championship.
