The success rate for the 9th year of general basic education examination (June 2023 session) reached 60.56% with 16,305 successful students out of 26,925 candidates. The number of successful candidates who will be directed to Elite High Schools is 3,074, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of Education. Students Meriem Bouchaala from the elite pre-high school of Sfax and Lina Haj Amor from the elite pre-high school of Sousse achieved the highest average score of 19.03. In the 9th grade technical education examination, the success rate was 64.63%, as 148 students succeeded among 229 candidates. The Ministry of Education, on Monday, July 3, began announcing the results of the examination (2023 session) via short message service (SMS).
