Ouagadougou: The Grand Chancellery of Burkinabè Orders welcomed, in the morning, a delegation of students from the Aube Nouvelle University of Ouagadougou. This visit, organized at the initiative of the university, aimed to raise awareness among young students of civic and patriotic values, and to introduce them to the importance of the Burkinabè Orders in the construction of national identity.

Around thirty students had the opportunity to visit the premises of the Grand Chancellery and to speak with the Grand Chancellor Brigadier General Pingrenoma ZAGRE. Two communications were presented to them, relating respectively to the symbols of the Nation and to the Burkinabè Orders.

During the first communication, the students were able to discover the history and meaning of the different symbols of the Nation, namely the national emblem, the coat of arms, the national anthem and the national motto. The second communication focused on the different Burkinabè Orders, their conditions of attribution and the values
they embody.

At the end of these communications, the students were able to ask questions to the communicators and discuss with them on the themes covered. They also received information documents on the Burkinabè Orders.
