The National Organizing Committee of the 20th edition of the National Culture Week (SNC) organized a press conference on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in Bobo-Dioulasso to take stock of the start of the activities of the biennale.
Faced with journalists, the president of the National Organizing Committee, Fidèle Aymar Tamini wanted to be reassuring on Wednesday, 72 hours from the official opening of the 20th edition of the National Culture Week (SNC) Bobo 2023. We can safely say that everything is ready , ” he confirmed.
However, for Fidèle Aymar Tamini, some difficulties remain but promises to minimize them to allow a smooth running of the SNC Bobo 2023.
As for the media men, they raised some concerns related to the accommodation of the artists, to the accreditation and also expressed their concern regarding the smooth running of the activities of the event.
While reassuring the journalists, the president of the National Committee indicated that no artist will be housed in a school and that everything is done to ensure their peace of mind.
This 20th edition of the SNC has seen some innovations, including the return of the Burkinabè diaspora from the Ivory Coast to competition in the performing arts, the improvement of artists’ accommodation conditions, the participation of the Living Human Treasure (THV) to animate panels and workshops for children and many others.
