Published in French and Arabic, this book is a biographical directory of journalists from the press, television, radio and MAP and represents a real reading in the history of Morocco through the experiences of women and men of the Moroccan press.

In a statement to MAP’s 24-hour news channel M24, Ajbali said that in addition to an extensive preface, this book presents portraits of 270 Moroccan journalists, reflecting the history of the Moroccan press from 1959 until today.

The sociologist said he was “proud to have had the opportunity to produce this work with the Moroccan News Agency.”

This book is a fundamental work that goes in line with MAP’s new missions, which include supporting the media sector through knowledge and research, noted the Director General of the Moroccan Press Agency, Khalil Hachimi Idrissi, in his preface to the book.

On the substance, there is material in this book to make “a sociology of Moroccan journalists. A structured typology of pressmen, a study on their diagonal trajectories or a university thesis on their impact on the institutional life of the country, the democratic transition or the public debate,” said Hachimi Idrissi in this preface entitled “A Herculean task.”

On Friday, Driss Ajbali took part in the activities of this edition of the International Fair for Publishing and Books by presenting his book “Eric Zemmour, a French outrage”, as part of the program of activities of the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) on this occasion.
