SFAX: The 14th session of the Mediterranean Agricultural and Food Industries Exhibition (SMA MEDFOOD’), will take place from May 15 to 19 at in Sfax, on the theme “A Developed Agricultural Economy in a Changing Global Climate”. The event will be attended by nearly 120 exhibitors of various nationalities.
At a press conference held, on Thursday, President of the 14th session of the SMA MEDFOOD’, Khaled Abdelhedi, underlined that this major economic event will offer customers a rich and diversified program including scientific seminars and interactive workshops.
«Major companies and institutions will represent a real showcase about the extent of the development of agricultural products and agri-food industries in Tunisia and abroad, with the participation of almost 120 exhibitors, some of them are from Italy, Russia, Spain, Turkey, Syria and Jordan, Algeria, Libya and Iraq,» he pointed out.
The exhibition constitutes a showcase to highlight agricultural equipment and supplies of all kinds as well as the food
industries of organic agriculture and in addition to the activities and services of the agricultural sector.
The event will also be marked by the participation of community companies.
