Ouagadougou: The Basic Education Districts (CEB) Barsalogho 1 and 2, in partnership with the Nabonswendé women’s association of Barsalogho, organized, on Wednesday, a day of excellence for the benefit of their students and teachers.
The CEBs of Barsalogho 1 and 2 respectively obtained success rates of 89.88% and 86.92% in the Primary Education Certificate (CEP) exam, 2024 session.
A performance celebrated during a day of excellence held on Wednesday July 31, 2024 in Kaya, under the theme: ‘For the promotion of peace, social cohesion and living together, the resilience of the school is a necessity “.
For the representative of the heads of CEB Barsalogho 1 and 2, Inspector Oumarou Sawadogo, this theme is full of meaning and testifies to the commitment of education stakeholders which made it possible to achieve these results.
‘With the support of community teachers under the dynamism of certain regular teachers, thousands of students remaining in Barsalogho also benefited from their right to basic education
this year and last year,’ he said. reassured.
As a result, CEB Barsalogho 1 and 2 are satisfied with the results obtained in the 2024 CEP exam and during the 2023-2024 school year.
Speaking, the representative of parents, Sakoïm-Naaba, thanked the teachers for their spirit of resilience which made it possible to obtain these results. This is why he wished that God and the manes of the ancestors would protect them in their noble missions.
The patron of the ceremony, the 1st vice-president of the Special Delegation (PDS) of Barsalogho, Jean Marie Ouédraogo, congratulated the students and teachers for the results obtained in this context of education in an emergency situation. ‘
It is your multiple and multifaceted support that allows us to adapt to all situations, to be resilient,’ he indicated.
Just like OSCEP 2024, this day of excellence was financially supported by the president of the Nabonswendé de Barsalogho women’s association (AFNB), Sombé Pascaline Sawadogo/Ouédraogo, godmother of the ceremony.

This is why she invited the winning students to stay the course for a successful school curriculum, without forgetting to thank the classroom and community teachers for their efforts.
In terms of rewards, the best students in the intermediate classes and the CEP 2024 exam in Kaya and Barsalogho received, among other things, school bags and supplies, solar lamps, bicycles and cash varying between 5,000 and 25,000 francs CFA.
As for the teachers and supervisors, they left with bags and certificates of merit.
