The High Commissioner of Sanmatenga Province, Abraham Yiyé Somdo officially installed on Wednesday May 24, 2023 in Kaya, the Provincial Director of the National Police, the Chief Police Commissioner, Babiwéfouga Aboubacar Tietiembou in his new functions.
The function of the provincial director of the national police of Sanmatenga is now a function in its own right, as it was for a long time occupied by the regional director of the national police of Sanmatenga.
The chief police commissioner, Babiwéfouga Aboubacar Tietiembou, appointed last Friday, April 28, in the Council of Ministers was officially installed this Wednesday, May 24, 2023 in Kaya, in his new role as provincial director of the national police of Sanmatenga.
The installation ceremony took place in the presence of the constituted bodies of the province, the regional director of the national police of the Centre-North, friends and his relatives.
The high commissioner of the province, Abraham Yiyé Somdo, hailed the courage and self-sacrifice at work which earned the confidence of the highest authorities in the new provincial director of the national police of Sanmatenga.
Mr. Sondo also called on all police personnel under his jurisdiction to show solidarity with the new provincial director of the national police in the fight against terrorism and banditry, in a difficult security context.
The chief police commissioner, Babiwéfouga Aboubacar Tietiembou was previously head of the regional judicial police service since 2017. He has a good command of the terrain and the current challenges he will face.
Measuring the immensity of his mission, he says he has no doubts about the support of all the socio-professional strata of the province from which he and his team will benefit in order to achieve the objectives set.

The regional director of the national police of the Center-North, Oumar Soulama advised the new provincial director of the national police of Sanmatenga to manage his men as a good father and he will see that the results will be there.
