Representatives of Monotheistic Religions Share Iftar Meal at Morocco’s Residence in Chile

On this occasion, Bishop Alberto Ortega expressed, to RIM Radio, his “gratitude and thanks for taking part in this iftar, hoping that the benefits of Ramadan gratify everyone.”

For his part, the representative of the Jewish community of Chile, Daniel Zang, said he was pleased to take part in this event, highlighting the deep bonds of friendship uniting the Jewish community of Chile.

Speaking on behalf of the Sephardic Jewish community in Chile, Abraham Cohen highlighted the importance of this holy month for Muslims, expressing his great joy of having been able to share this spiritual atmosphere with representatives of the three monotheistic religions and with members of the Moroccan community in Chile.

In similar remarks, Muhamad Roumieh, vice-president of Al-Salam mosque in Chile, expressed his gratitude for participating in this Iftar, beseeching the Almighty to accept all the good deeds performed during this month of piety and blessings.

This iftar was an occasion to share moments of conviviality and spirituality at the residence of Morocco’s ambassador in Santiago, Kenza El Ghali.
