Prime Minister meets Saudi Minister of industry and Mineral Resources and his accompanying delegation


Prime Minister Ahmed Hachani met on Tuesday at the Government Palace in the Kasbah, Saudi minister of industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim al-khorayef, accompanied by the CEO of Saudi EXIM Bank, Saad Alkhalb, the President of the Federation of Saudi Chambers, Hassan Al-Huwaizi, and the Vice-Chairperson of the Tunisian-Saudi Business Council, Omar Al Ajaji.

The meeting was attended by ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Tunisia Abdulaziz Al-Saqr, and on the Tunisian side Minister of Finance and acting minister of economy and planning Sihem Boughdiri Nemsia, president of the Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts Samir Majoul and Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy, Ahlam Beji.

In this meeting, Ahmed Hachani stressed the importance of holding the 11th session of the Tunisian-Saudi Joint Commission in Tunisia. He commended the resulting agreements in various fields that will strengthen the existing cooperation and partnership relations between the two countri
es.

Hachani noted that the committee’s holding coincides with the Tunisian-Saudi partnership and investment forum with the large participation of Tunisian and Saudi businessmen, and the promising partnerships that will result from it.

The prime minister also congratulated the Saudi minister on hosting the Riyadh “Expo 2030” in Saudi Arabia.

For his part, the Saudi minister of industry and Mineral Resources considered that Tunisia’s hosting of the Tunisian-Saudi Joint Commission meeting will give a new impetus to economic cooperation and investment between the two countries, which will benefit the two brotherly peoples.
