President Kais Saied met on Thursday at Carthage Palace with Education Minister Mohamed Ali Boughdiri and Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister Moncef Boukthir.
The meeting focused on preparations for the national exams.
Kais Saied stressed the sanctity of the role of educators, including teachers and professors at all levels of education, according to a statement from the presidency.
He was also quoted as stressing the need to find a solution as soon as possible, to put a definitive end to the crisis surrounding the withholding of grades.
“Pupils are a trust placed in all of us and they, together with students, are our inexhaustible wealth that all parties must work to preserve,” the President pointed out.
