Positive momentum for Djerba-Zarzis International Airport

Tunis: The number of flights passing through Djerba-Zarzis International Airport on Thursday totalled 81 arrivals and departures, a figure that reflects the upward momentum at the terminal since mid-June, according to an official source at the airport.

“The beginning of an excellent tourist season is here,” the same source told TAP, citing the growing number of scheduled flights, including an unusual flight from Bulgaria and the addition of other irregular flights from German airports to Djerba-Zarzis International Airport.

The largest number of scheduled and non-scheduled flights this summer will come from French airports, followed by flights from Luxembourg and Germany in third place.

Indicators are also in the green for the return of the Italian market, which has a solid schedule of flights already planned, according to the same source.
