Koudougou: The Head of State’s Charge de Mission for the Nando region, Pema Florent Neya, visited young people on compulsory patriotic immersion at the private El Falah college this Sunday. This visit, which is part of the follow-up to the Presidential Initiatives, aimed to salute their commitment and encourage them to continue in this dynamic.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Mr. Neya expressed his delight at the program’s successful implementation at the facility. He emphasized the importance of discipline, humility, and respect for elders, values he believes are essential and well instilled in participants. “I congratulate you and encourage you to stay the course until the end. Be proud of yourselves. Not everyone has had this opportunity to benefit from the values you are immersed in today,” he said, highlighting the privileged nature of this opportunity.
On behalf of the participants, the president of the college’s Patriotic Immersion Center, Sy Ibram Traore, warmly thanked the Charge de mission for his visit. “Your presence deeply honored us and rekindled our patriotic commitment,” he said. He also assured the young people of their firm determination to tirelessly support patriotic initiatives. The center’s president concluded his speech with the patriotic motto: “Fatherland or Death, We Will Win!”
This visit is in addition to the many actions carried out by Pema Florent Neya to support local initiatives. Earlier this week, he actively participated in the organization of the second edition of the “cleaning up” operation in Koudougou, which took place from September 2 to 4, 2025, under the chairmanship of the governor of Nando, Adama Jean Yves Bere. This commitment demonstrates the importance that regional authorities place on community development and the involvement of young people in the life of the nation.
