Passoré/BEPC 2023: 5,081 candidates for the first secondary education diploma

The High Commissioner of the province of Passoré, Koutougou Laurent Tontogom, accompanied by the Provincial Director in charge of secondary education, gave this Thursday, June 1, 2023, the starting signal for the BEPC, BEP school exams and CAP, 2023 session, with 5,081 candidates.

Despite the security context that led to the relocation of certain establishments in the localities of Bagaré and Yako, 5,081 candidates began this Thursday, June 1, 2023, the written tests for the BEPC, BEP and CAP exams, in Yako.

It was in room 1 of jury 2 that the envelope for the first dictation test was opened by the High Commissioner of Passoré province, Koutougou Laurent Tontogom, assisted by local authorities and

officials of the two juries who register 354 candidates.

Before proceeding to the opening of the first envelope, the High Commissioner of Passoré, provided advice and messages of encouragement to the candidates.

The Provincial Director of post-primary and secondary education of Passoré, Halidou Konfé reassured the candidates of the smooth running of the examination at the organizational level and at the start.

Mr. Konfé also praised the resilience of the various actors involved in the organization of these exams without forgetting the immense work done by the teaching staff and the administrative staff of the various post-primary schools in his territory.

It should be noted that the number of candidates is down, unlike the 2022 session which was 6,602 candidates in the running.

The first results are expected on June 9.
