Passation de Charges et Installation des Nouveaux Directeurs Techniques   la DGAJEP: Un Renouvellement Strat©gique pour l’Autonomisation des Jeunes


Ouagadougou: The Director General of Youth Empowerment and Continuing Education, Mr. Romain Kabore, presided over the solemn handover ceremony and installation of new technical directors on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. This was a significant event for the Directorate General, as five new figures took charge of strategic directions for the future of young Burkinabe.



According to Burkina Information Agency, Mrs. Alimata SOUGUE takes over the Directorate of Educational Strategies and Youth Protection (DSEPJ), following the departure of Mr. Somaila SAWADOGO, who headed the department for eight years. Mrs. Isabelle BADO will head the Directorate for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship and Youth Empowerment (DPEAJ). Mr. G. Camille TAMALGO will now manage the Directorate for Cooperation, Youth Organization and Associative Life (DCOJVA), resulting from the merger of two key departments. Mr. Lassan© KOLOGO and Mr. Raoul BAYALA will take over the Directorates for the Promotion of Youth Infrastructure (DPIJ) and the Promotion of Continuing Education (DPEP) respectively.



The new directors expressed their total commitment to meeting the challenges of their missions, in a context where youth constitute a central axis of national development. In a difficult environment marked by a scarcity of resources, their determination to work efficiently and to seek financial and technical partnerships is more imperative than ever to achieve the set objectives.



The Director General praised the work accomplished by the outgoing directors and congratulated them for their contribution. He also urged the new leaders to demonstrate efficiency and responsibility in their new roles, with the vision of a stronger and more prosperous Burkina Faso.
