The association “Youth Action for the Development of Koulpélogo (AJDK)” handed over this Monday a borehole to the Tampané district, located in sector 3 of Ouargaye, to quench the thirst of the populations. increased in number with the arrival of IDPs.
The delivery of this important work saw the presence of resource persons and of course the direct beneficiaries.
This hydraulic infrastructure is being built as part of the socio-economic and health development project in the province of Koulpelogo.
The project is implemented thanks to the financial support of the Swiss Cooperation Office and the Consular Agency in Burkina Faso with co-financing from the association “Action de la Jeunesse pour le Développement du Koulpelogo (AJDK)”.
The problem of access to drinking water being very worrying, the commissioning of this work relieves the pain of the inhabitants of this district which has recently experienced the influx of internally displaced persons due to the security crisis.
According to the donor representative, the AJDK association is engaged in socio-economic development actions, in the sense that other actions such as the construction of 07 mills for women and 10 boreholes, one of which has a castle water, are being implemented in several municipalities in the province.
