Olympics-2024: Jamila Boulakbèche brings number of Tunisians qualified to 26


Tunis: The number of Tunisian athletes qualified for the Paris-2024 Olympic Games has risen to 26 following the validation of swimmer Jamila Boulakbèche’s qualification (800m) by the International Swimming Federation (FINA), the Tunisian National Olympic Committee (CNOT) announced on Monday.

In the absence of team sports, Tunisia’s participation in the Olympic Games 2024 will involve 13 disciplines, namely taekwondo, wrestling, athletics, rowing, shooting sports, archery, canoe kayak, fencing, weightlifting, boxing, judo, swimming and tennis.

The qualified athletes:

Taekwondo :

Ikram Dhaheri: U49kg

Chayma Toumi: U57kg

Wrestling :

Slimène Nasr: U67kg

Amine Guennichi: 130kg
