Nahouri/Inscription from the royal court of Tiébélé: The inhabitants of the court say ‘Dinléé’ to the government


The governor of the Center-South region, Massadalo Yvette Nacoulma/Sanou, accompanied by her close collaborators, were in the royal court of Tiébélé, this Wednesday, August 7, 2024. This visit follows the registration of the royal court of Tiébélé as a UNESCO world heritage site, on July 26, 2024 in New Delhi, India.

It was to the sound of the men’s drums and the “Linlêê” of the women of the royal court that the governor of the Center-South region, Massaladalo Yvette Nacoulma/Sanou and her delegation were welcomed on Wednesday August 7, 2024, a few cables from the royal court to the front of the court.

This musical expression and welcome, according to Aboungou Anéyan, notable of the court, testifies to the image of joy which animates the inhabitants of the court in particular and the entire population of the commune of Tiébélé in general, after the inscription of the court royal UNESCO World Heritage Site on July 26 in New Delhi, India.

After the customary greetings from the notables of the court, the gove
rnor explained that her visit to Tiébélé aims to congratulate all the actors and notables of the court for their commitment and support in the process which resulted in the registration of the royal court on the UNESCO world heritage list.

She indicated that this inscription is proof of the resilience of the Burkinabè people to remain standing despite the difficult security and humanitarian context.

‘Tiébélé is happy, in our turn, we say a big thank you to the government through the ministry of culture and all those who worked for the registration of our royal court, ‘ Daaléé ‘, underlined the representative of notables, young people and women of the royal court, Aboungou Anéyan.

According to him, the members of the family and the local committee are committed to preserving the values ??which led to the courtyard being included on the world heritage list.

‘The government has raised the name of Tiébélé high, we will keep this flame burning,’ concluded Mr. Anéyan.

The governor spoke with members of the loc
al court management committee set up in 2023 and led by the prefect of Tiébélé.

For Massaladalo Yvette Nacoulma/Sanou, the spirit of the meeting aims to energize the said committee on urgent actions to be implemented in order to contribute to further promoting and maintaining the integrity of the royal court of Tiébélé.

‘This will allow visitors to the court to want to come and come back,’ said Ms. Nacoulma.
