Nahouri: The High Commissioner of the Nahouri province, Sie Aristide Mohamed Kam, presided over a poignant ceremony in Po to honor the victims of the popular uprising that occurred from October 30 to 31, 2014. He called upon the people of Burkina Faso to commemorate the martyrs who sacrificed their lives on the field of honor for the cause of freedom.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was marked by the participation of various constituted bodies of the Nahouri province, who observed a minute of silence at 10:00 AM on October 31, 2015. This act of remembrance was conducted after the national flag was respectfully lowered to half-mast, signifying the solemnity of the occasion.
During the ceremony, High Commissioner Sie Aristide Mohamed Kam elaborated on the current historical context of Burkina Faso, emphasizing the importance of remembering those who lost their lives.
