Mouhoun/School exams for the 2024 session: The starting point given in the central schools of Dédougou


The governor of the Boucle du Mouhoun region, Babo Pierre Bassinga, officially launched, on Tuesday June 4, 2024 in Dédougou, the school exams, 2024 session. The center houses the relocated jury of Kari. It was in the presence of the administrative and educational authorities of the region.

The start of school examinations for the Certificate of Primary Studies (CEP), the Brevet d’études du premier cycle (BEPC), the Brevet d’études vocationales (BEP) and the Certificate of Professional Aptitude (CAP), 2024 session took place on Tuesday June 4, 2024 in Dédougou.

The Boucle du Mouhoun region recorded 24,023 candidates registered for the CEP including 13,449 girls and 10,574 boys, 15,972 candidates or 9,305 girls and 6,667 boys for the BEPC, 256 candidates or 60 girls and 196 boys for the CAP and 534, i.e. 165 girls and 369 boys for the BEP.

Among these candidates, there are 3,051 internally displaced students, i.e. 1,679 girls and 1,373 boys.

The official launch of these exams was carried out by the governo
r of the Boucle du Mouhoun region, Babo Pierre Bassinga in the central schools of Dédougou which house outsourced exam centers.

The governor stressed the importance of these exams for the future of young people in the region.

He urged the candidates to give their best and demonstrate honesty and integrity throughout the examinations.

Babo Pierre Bassinga also wished all the candidates every success and encouraged them to give the best of themselves to obtain their diploma which is their passport to college.

The Regional Director of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education, Philibert Hyacinthe Coulibaly, recalled the arrangements taken to ensure the smooth running of the exams, particularly in terms of security, logistical organization and mobilization of stakeholders. .

Given the particularity of the region which is experiencing a difficult security crisis, certain examination centers have been relocated in order to guarantee the smooth running of the exam.

The outsourced centers have had the necessa
ry support from the primary authorities of the ministry in charge of national education so that these candidates can compose in good conditions.

Likewise, the Regional Director of post-primary and secondary education, Dr Denis Vimboué, stressed that this year, the exams will take place in the Banwa province.

He praised the support of the administrative authorities and the defense and security forces who worked to ensure the exams were held successfully.
