He praised the resilience of education stakeholders and the support of the authorities both at the regional and national level.
‘I am overwhelmed by the courage of everyone and I extend my gratitude and congratulations to them for all the efforts made to meet the challenges in education,’ said Dr Denis Vimboué.
The regional director further congratulated the fighting forces in the region who contributed to the smooth running of the school year and the holding of the various exams in the region.

ious juries of the Baccalaureate session of 2024 in the Boucle du Mouhoun proclaimed on Thursday July 4, 2024, the results of the second round.
Out of a total number of 8,424 registered for the Baccalaureate, 8,258 candidates took part in the exam with 166 absent.
At the end of the announcement of the results of the second round, the region has a total of 4,442 admissions made up of 2,145 girls and 2,297 boys, which gives an overall success rate of 53.79% or 53.25% for girls. and 54.30% for boys.
The analysis of the results ranks the province of Kossi, 1st with a success rate of 63.90%, Sourou 2nd with 60.77%, Mouhoun 3rd with 53.96%, Banwa 4th with 51.40% , the Balé 5th with 50.24% and the Nayala 6th place with 46.79%.
It should be noted that this year, the six provinces of the region hosted composition juries for the BEPC and Baccalaureate exams.
