A total of 24,916,757 people have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, while the number of fully vaccinated people (1st and 2nd doses) has reached 23,417,252, the ministry pointed out in its daily COVID-19 bulletin, noting that 6,863,382 people have received the third dose of the vaccine, while 57,203 people have received the fourth dose.
According to the same source, the number of COVID-19 cases reported since the start of the outbreak of the virus rose to 1,270,466 while recoveries increased to 1,253,281, i.e. a recovery rate of 98.6%.
The new COVID-19 cases were recorded in the regions of Rabat-Salé-Kenitra (70), Casablanca-Settat (30), Fez-Meknes (13), Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (13), Sous-Massa (10), Marrakech-Safi (09), Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra (01), the Oriental (01) and Draa-Tafilalet (01).
As for coronavirus-related fatalities, their number remained at 16,290, with one new case recorded in the last 24 hours.
The number of active cases stands at 895, with 03 severe or critical cases reported in the past 24 hours, for a total of 13 cases.
