The contest, organized in the framework of various commemoration projects and activities, is open to all residents of Morocco and the Philippines (over 18 years old). The deadline for entries is June 30, 2023 and the winning entry will be used by both embassies during the commemoration year, from April 10, 2024 until the anniversary date, April 10, 2025.
This joint initiative of the two embassies will have as its main theme “50 Years of Philippine-Moroccan Relations” and is intended as an opportunity to showcase the dynamic relations between the two countries, which reflect a fruitful climate of friendship that translates the excellence of bilateral relations.
In an interview with MAP on Thursday, Baja explained that “this is a joint effort of the two embassies for an event that reflects the very good relations between the two countries,” adding that he “hopes to see a logo that has aspects that represent both countries, but also all these years of diplomatic relations and friendship between Morocco and the Philippines.”
This contest will highlight what the two partners have to offer and their commonalities, he said, expressing the desire to promote exchanges and visits between the peoples of the two countries.
In this regard, the ambassador evoked “an increase in the number of tourists from the Philippines to Morocco”, hoping that “more Moroccans will be able to visit the Philippines” and discover its culture.
